About this product
The Callaway Golf 2008 Big Bertha Single 7-Iron is a men's right-handed club with a uniflex steel shaft and a 36-inch length. It features a stainless steel head and is part of the legendary Big Bertha line known for forgiveness. This single iron is ideal for golfers looking to replace a specific club in their set or for those wanting to try the Big Bertha iron experience.
Our take
I picked up this 2008 Big Bertha 7-iron to fill a gap in my bag. The uniflex steel shaft is a good middle ground for my swing, and the stainless steel head feels solid. The Big Bertha design offers decent forgiveness on off-center hits. At 36 inches, it's standard length for a 7-iron. The club is older but still performs well. My only complaint is that the uniflex shaft might not be ideal for either slow or fast swingers. Still, for $50, it's a great way to add a reliable 7-iron if you need one.
